From Our Members

"Of all the things that I did lately, joining NAWBO has been a great decision.  What a fantastic group of women who are all there to help each other.  In today's business climate, that is not what I am used to."
Kelley Huff, President, Enchanted Acres Farm, Inc.

Don't want committee work?  NOT a problem ... what we really want is your best thinking and creative ideas.  This 'nerve center' committee of 6 to 8 people in the fields of PR, design, sales, marketing, and printing collaborate on NAWBO project work.  The lynch-pin for growing our organization is reputation, press, media sponsorship and compelling stories about our member businesses. This is one of the most valuable functions of NAWBO and is handled by the PR team on the Marketing Committee.  The committee meets once a month to set strategy and lay out tactics. Writers Needed!

Coordinating the monthly local satellite meetings within the chapter five county area is the responsibility of the Satellite Meetings Committee. The satellite meetings provide an opportunity for members to meet regularly with other businesses within the same general area. They also serve as a vehicle for nonmembers to get a glimpse of how our chapter operates and helps in their decision to join NAWBO. Typically, the committee consists of the five meeting hosts plus the committee chair. However, any member desiring to contribute to this vital function is more than welcome to contribute.
