National and Local Membership
A NAWBO membership offers women-owned businesses a national and local platform to tap into the power of an already established community of women entrepreneurs. At the national level, NAWBO touts a membership of more than 7,000 members and 70 chapters across the country; and at the local level, members are encouraged to engage actively with their local chapter to gain access to other women business owners, leadership development opportunities and community involvement. ATHENAPowerLink® NAWBO® Delaware Valley
NAWBO Chapters in Philadelphia, South Jersey and Delaware have joined together to bring the ATHENAPowerLink® program to the Delaware Valley. This combined effort is an exciting first for NAWBO Chapters nationwide, and represents a significant opportunity for our members and all women business owners. NAWBO Alliances
NAWBO maintains relationships with many local organizations (women's, education institutions, women's business, other business, etc.) for mutual publicity of select events and also occasional partnering to co-sponsor events. Free Local Monthly Satellite Meetings
Those of us living and working in the Greater Philadelphia area know the constant battle of navigating the traffic and parking in the area. Those of us who live in the city dread the drive to events in the suburbs and those of us who live in the suburbs dread the drive to events in the city. One of the more unique benefits of NAWBO membership is the ability to attend free local monthly satellite meetings, held in central locations throughout the area. Satellite meetings are held on Fridays in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. Please check the Satellite Meetings page for complete details.
NAWBO List Server
The Greater Philadelphia chapter of NAWBO maintains a List Server to facilitate business and networking among our members. New members will receive instructions regarding the List Server in the chapter new member kit.
