Graphic design is one thing. Quantum thinking is something else entirely. “Quantum thinking pushes us to explore possibilities we might otherwise dismiss,” explained Candace (Candy) Roberts, president of Quantum Think. At Quantum Think, Candy and her team of designers develop websites, logos, corporate communications, marketing materials, and more – all with tremendous flair, intentionality, and results.

Quantum Think, founded in 1983, works extensively with corporate accounts, pharmaceutical companies, and members of the legal profession – and also with women business owners. “Women-owned businesses tend not to reach the size of their male-owned counterparts,” Candy observed. “I am all about helping women business owners succeed at a higher level. For instance, I searched for many years for a cost-effective web tool so that we could design and build websites and turn them over to our clients for easy maintenance. We now have that ideal tool, enabling our clients to establish a solid web presence at an affordable price.”

Candy joined NAWBO over 10 years ago and has never looked back. From 2003 to 2005, she served as the president of the Greater Philadelphia chapter, at which time she initiated involvement in the ATHENAPowerLink® program. Following her term as president, she served on the NAWBO national board until 2007. She then became chair of the ATHENAPowerLink Governing Body from 2007-2009. Currently, she serves as corporate secretary for NAWBO’s non-profit foundation, the Greater Philadelphia Foundation for Women Entrepreneurs, and co-chairs the governance committee that provides board members for the chapter, Foundation, and ATHENAPowerLink program.

Commenting on her consistent and deep involvement with NAWBO, Candy affirmed, “What I wanted to accomplish and what I still work toward is helping create a community that supports one another. I am a strong proponent that NAWBO members should use the services of other members, and I walk that talk. When I joined NAWBO, I replaced my legal team, accountant, IT support, and other vendors with women business owners. Working with my fellow NAWBO members and women business owners is a source of great joy to me – the joy of giving back to a remarkable community of women.”
